Types of therapy

They take the same evidence-based approach to treatment they use in a more intensive care as they work with you or your child in daily therapy for several weeks, depending on your treatment. You remain connected to family and, if undergoing intensive outpatient care, you can continue with work or school. Components of therapy may vary by treatment plan, but often include:

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
Behavioral activation (BA)
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed skills
Medication management
Individual, group and family therapy
Experiential therapy

While the treatment plans may vary, the goal remains the same for all: providing you with an individual plan that gives you the tools to gain insight into your behaviors and feelings, letting you set realistic goals and develop new skills for success.
